"Ipswich football team knows play-off bound Generals won't hold back", Ipswich Chronicle, Nov 23, 2010
“What’s nice about Thanksgiving is you don't have to work in psychological magic so that the kids stay pumped,” Flaherty said. “One of the things that’s really nice for us is that we’ve been in a lot of games (six of nine were competitive), and so there’s a lot of key moments where we really have to draw on what we’ve learned in practice. When you’re winning, you play with confidence.”

"Defensive effort gives Tigers shutout win", Salem News, Oct 16, 2010
"I was very proud of the effort tonight," Flaherty said. "I think this was the first game all year that we played from start to finish, and our defense was just dominant. They controlled the line of scrimmage and controlled the game." (Nick Curcuru, Staff Writer)

Freshman Victory! The Ipswich Tigers Freshman Football Team had their first win of the season Thurday afternoon, beating Manchester Essex 38-18! Nate Glaster scored two touchdowns and Derek Chamberlain scored three. They make a great combination in the back field.
Kyle Blomster threw the ball very well, and had some good QB keepers. The extra points were scored by Ben Rice, Alex Jean-Charles and Derek Chamberlain. The Tiger Defense played a great game with two pass interceptions – one by Kyle Blomster and the other by Alex Jean-Charles. Congratulations Freshmen! (October 10, 2010)

"Moving the Chains", Salem News, Oct 1, 2010
"Triton (0-3) has won seven of its last eight games against tonight's host, Ipswich (1-2). But don't fret, Tiger fans; your team's last three victories in the series have all come via shutout (1999, 2000 and 2006). Ipswich still leads the all-time series, 21-16, as well." (Phil Stacey, Sports Editor)

"Ipswich football team takes a lot of lessons from loss to Marblehead", Ipswich Chronicle, Sept 24, 2010
“Win, lose, or draw we want the other team to get on their bus and say that was a hard fought game and we’re glad we’re leaving,” Flaherty said. “If we play like that, I think we’re going to win more than we lose.” (Coach Ted Flaherty)

"Moving the Chains", Salem News, Sept 16, 2010
"I know (Ipswich coach) Ted Flaherty. He won a Super Bowl at Ipswich before they had those down years. You could see their team unity last week. Ted has them playing good football and the scary part is that they have a stud (Eldredge) with a supporting cast. They're not going to fear Marblehead." (Mike Grenier, Staff Writer)

"Air attack helps Ipswich triumph over Hornets", Salem News, September 11, 2010
"There are those who believe it is near impossible to throw the ball out of a Wing-T offense.
And then there are those like Ipswich High football coach Ted Flaherty." (Dan Harrison, Staff Writer)
